The company grew out of experience in television operations and live broadcast scheduling, where most delays trace back to decisions made before anyone switched a camera on. A cable run that was never drawn up, a talkback path nobody tested, a lighting plot that ignored the lens. We set out to deal with those problems at the planning stage.
Early work was studio layouts and sound for modest productions. Over time the same clients asked us to look after camera control, lighting and live crewing as well, so those skills sit under one roof today, with each specialist still answering for their own area.
We work in writing wherever we can. Drawings, signal lists and run sheets are agreed before kit arrives, so engineers, producers and organisers all read the same plan. That habit has saved more time than any single piece of equipment.
Our guides on audiovisual workflows come from the same place. When a handover keeps causing trouble across several productions, we write it up in practical terms so other teams can borrow the method without hiring us.
The crew is deliberately small. Helen Marsh leads projects and studio planning, and the people who design your system are the people who turn up on the day. You know who to call, and they know your rig.
What we stand for
Precision
Measurements, signal lists and cue sheets are checked before they are issued. A cable length or a mic position written down correctly saves a long conversation on shoot day.
Reliability
We plan for the failure that is likely, with spares, tested backup paths and rehearsal time. Crews arrive when agreed, and equipment is checked before it leaves our workshop.
Clear communication
Quotations, plans and reports are written in plain language and sent in good time. If something changes, we say so early and explain what it means for your schedule.
How a small Gloucester crew settled on its way of working
None of our habits arrived all at once. Each came from a production where something was missing: a drawing, a rehearsal, a clear owner. Taken together they explain why we work the way we do and what clients can expect from a project with us.

What production teams have said about working with us
These comments come from engineers, producers and organisers we have worked with. They describe how projects felt to run, in the clients' own words, without scores or counts.
The studio plan arrived as a clear set of drawings with a cable schedule attached. Our engineers could read it without a meeting, and the install matched it almost line for line. That made the build week far less stressful than the last one.
Daniel talked our presenters through monitoring before the first rehearsal, and the difference was obvious. Fewer retakes, fewer questions at the desk. He also left us a one-page note on the mix settings that we still use.
We needed vision mixing and routing for a one-day conference with a live feed. The crew turned up on time, tested every path and told us plainly what the venue could not support. No surprises, which is exactly what we wanted.
Our review process had too many handovers and nobody could say where files were waiting. The consultancy review mapped it honestly and suggested a few small changes. We adopted most of them and the queue is easier to follow now.
