What we do

Studio, camera, lighting, sound and live production services

starlova

Six services for television networks and live events, from the first layout drawing to crewing on the day, each described by what it involves and what you need to provide.

Our services

Six services that cover a studio or live event

starlova designs broadcast studios, configures camera control, plans lighting, engineers sound, crews live events and reviews production workflows. Clients can take one service alone or combine several, since the same small team handles each area and shares drawings and signal lists between them.

  1. Broadcast Studio Design

Layout, acoustics and cabling plans for television studios, drawn up to suit your programmes and crew.

  2. Camera Control Systems

Setup and configuration of camera control units, remote heads and shading for multi-camera productions.

  3. Professional Lighting Design

Lighting plots and rigs for studio shows and live stages, balanced for camera and audience.

  4. Sound Engineering

Audio capture, mixing and monitoring for broadcasts and live events, from microphones to final mix.

  5. Live Event Production

Crewing, vision mixing and signal routing for conferences, concerts and televised live events.

  6. Workflow Consultancy

Reviews of ingest, editing, review and delivery steps to help production teams work with fewer handovers.

Scope is agreed in writing before work begins. If you are unsure which services you need, describe the production and we will suggest where to start.

How a project runs

From first enquiry to delivery, step by step

Every project follows the same order, whether it is a studio layout or a single live event. The steps keep decisions in writing and give you a point to pause, question or change direction before further work is done.

In more detail

Broadcast Studio Design

  1. Layout and sightlines

We draw floor plans showing set position, camera positions, monitor wall and control areas, checking sightlines and crew movement. You receive drawings your own engineers can mark up and question.

  2. Acoustic treatment planning

We assess how the room sounds and suggest treatment and microphone positions suited to your formats. The advice covers what to change in the space and what can be managed with careful mixing.

  3. Cabling and signal routing

A cable schedule sets out routes, labelling and patching for video, audio, tally and data. Clear labelling now makes fault-finding straightforward years later.

  4. Coordination with other services

Lighting, camera control and sound plans are drawn together so power, rigging and routing do not clash. If you want only the studio design, we hand over plans that work with your other suppliers.
